Bandelier Marks National Park Week With Fee Free Day

Bandelier National Monument and other National Park Service areas will waive entrance fees Saturday, April 17 to celebrate the start of National Park Week 2021.

Fee free days provide an opportunity to explore Bandelier or another national park for the first time or visit an old favorite. Entrance fee waivers do not apply to expanded amenity fees such as camping.

Every April, during the presidentially proclaimed National Park Week, the National Park Service joins with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, to celebrate America’s treasures. National Park Week is a time to explore amazing places, discover stories of history and culture, volunteer, and find your park.

National Park Week 2021 is April 17 to April 25. Parks across the country will host a variety of special programs, events, and digital experiences. There also are special theme days during the week to highlight the different ways everyone can enjoy national parks.
