Balderas Launches Year Of The Student Outreach Campaign To Empower New Mexicans Of All Ages

AG News:

SANTA FE  Attorney General Hector Balderas proudly announces his 2016-2017 Outreach campaign, Year of The Student.

This newest phase of his office’s ongoing educational campaign encourages New Mexicans of all ages to see themselves as students and invest in learning opportunities that will equip them with the tools they need to make healthy and informed decisions.

“We recognize that all New Mexicans need skills and training to empower themselves for a safer, healthier and more prosperous future,” Balderas said. “The opportunity to learn transcends generations, whether a person is buying his or her first vehicle, getting ready to make the transition to college, or teaching his or her children to be safe online, my office wants everyone to benefit from opportunities to learn no matter where they are in life.”

The Office of the Attorney General offers cost-free presentations to school-age youth, parents, families, senior citizens and professionals on the following topics:
  • Cybersafety & Cyberbullying
  • Financial Well-Being
  • Healthy Minds: Suicide Awareness
