LAAC News:

The Albuquerque and Four Corners Pipes and Drums will fill the outside grounds and the Pajarito Room of Fuller Lodge with the bright and beautiful sounds of bagpipes and drums at noon Wednesday, June 6.

This Brown Bag Performance is the last of the Arts Council’s series of free performances at the Lodge. But don’t worry, the Brown Bags begin again in September!

The bag pipes and drums program will include traditional dances and marches from Western Europe, and will be accompanied by dancers dressed in traditional costumes. The band is led by Pipe Major Anthony Puckett, of Los Alamos.

Many people love bagpipes and don’t get a chance to hear them that often, so this is an opportunity to hear an hour-long performance. The spectacular showcase will feature the ensemble entering Fuller Lodge from the lawn in a traditional march.
