House Democrats have revamped and are now pushing HB 6, legislation that ostensibly “reforms” New Mexico’s tax code. In reality, the legislation would impose a variety of tax hikes and raise New Mexicans’ overall tax burdens by $120 million a year.

Plea Agreement Reached Prior To Katcher Trial

A plea agreement was reached Wednesday morning in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Garrett Thayne Katcher, 33, of Los Alamos. Jurors called for selection for his trial on a charge of aggravated battery against a household member were dismissed.
