NMNS&H News:
Join the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History (NMNS&H) 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 to discuss author Sarah James’ debut novel ‘The Woman with Two Shadows’.
When Lillian Kaufman receives a call telling her that her twin sister Eleanor is missing after taking a classified job at an Army base somewhere in Tennessee, Lillian is forced to assume her sister’s identity to enter the secure town.
Once in Oak Ridge, Lillian learns that Eleanor has vanished without a trace—and she’s not the only one. But how do you find someone in a town so dangerous that it doesn’t officially exist? Trapped in her lie, Lillian has to pretend to be Eleanor, and finds herself in the epicenter of the gravest scientific undertaking of all time, with no idea who she can trust. The more she acts like Eleanor, the more she loses her grip on herself.
This event is $10 to attend virtually, and Museum members are free to attend. Donations are appreciated.
