COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County’s Atomic City Transit (ACT) launched two short community surveys June 3 through its vendor LSC Transportation Consultants.
One survey is designed to solicit feedback from intermittent and non-users, and the other is for frequent users of the ACT bus services. Transit officials encourage community members to provide feedback on the survey that best describes their ridership before midnight Monday, June 20.
Survey results will assist the staff in updating the 2015 ACT Comprehensive Transit Study. Specifically, the staff aims to use this essential feedback to evaluate existing transit services, identify barriers that prevent potential riders from utilizing ACT buses, and improve services over the next five years to meet the community’s needs.
Intermittent and non-users of the ACT services can take the survey designed for this group by using the following link.
Frequent users of the ACT services with mobile devices are encouraged to scan the QR Code posted inside the buses to take the survey online. For those who prefer paper, printed versions of the survey are available in the buses for riders to complete during their commute.
Links to the English and Spanish pdf versions, as well as an online version of the survey are also accessible for frequent riders on the ACT website under “Service Announcements” and the bulleted item to take the “On-Board Survey.”
Transit officials thank the community in advance for providing this valuable feedback.
