Ashley Shaw Of Los Alamos Transported From Tennessee To Face Meth Trafficking Charges

COURT News:

Ashley Shaw, 32, of Los Alamos is facing two charges in Los Alamos Magistrate Court of trafficking methamphetamine for allegedly selling .8 grams of the drug in October and .6 grams in January to confidential informants for the Los Alamos Police Department.

Court documents indicate that an affidavit for an arrest warrant was filed in March by Det. Ryan Wolking on the grounds that Shaw was a flight risk as Shaw had announced her intention to relocate to Tennessee and because the spreading of methamphetamine poses a danger in the community.

Judge Pat Casados extended that warrant April 26 to any jurisdiction and after Shaw was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Judge Casados issued an order for her to be transported to Los Alamos. As of Tuesday morning, Shaw was incarcerated in the Los Alamos Detention Center and expected to make a first appearance before Judge Casados later in the day.
