Los Alamos Arts Council with Los Alamos MainStreet and Los Alamos Creative District have announced the winners for the 2019 Scarecrow Contest.
The contest had 23 entries into the contest this year, each one is an exceptional addition to MainStreet and the Creative District.
This year, there were five categories for Scarecrows: Business/Organization Traditional, Business/Organization Contemporary, Family Traditional, Family Contemporary and Fan Favorite.
Winners in each category:
- N3B Los Alamos- Business/Organization Traditional for “Scared Sideways”
- Little Forest Playschool-Business/Organization Contemporary for “Teacherstein”
- The Preston Family- Family Traditional for “Farmer Pumpkin Chops”
- The Millertime Famly-Family Contemporary for “Hungry Audrey!”
The prize for Fan Favorite went to Litte Forest Playschool.
Scarecrows will remain on display through today for the community to continue to enjoy.
