Art Reception At Rose Chocolatier 5-7 p.m. Today

Rose Chocolatier at 991 Central Ave. is hosting a new art reception 5-7 p.m. today. Rose Cardona is displaying her collection of paintings inspired by life’s simple joys—children and flowers.

As a child, she watched her mother, and relatives painting murals. Cardona started painting as soon as she could hold a brush. Cardona’s creative ideas seem to flow from her from being a part of a large multi-cultural and artistic family.

For Cardona, being part of art projects makes her happy, and it never seems like work. You may have noticed her window artistry around Los Alamos during the holiday season. She paints the Rose Chocolatier windows year-round. Her creative touch keeps the windows interesting and attractive throughout the year. 

This exhibit will be on display at Rose Chocolatier through the month of July.
