Art On Tap Celebrates Creative Side Of Los Alamos

A group gathered at UnQuarked recently to hear about the variety of things happening in the Los Alamos Creative District and within the Los Alamos Arts Council.

LACDC Communications Director and Creative District Curator Ryn Herrmann spoke about the Creative District and things happening to draw out the creative side of the community, and encouraged the audience to “keep an eye out for unexpected artistic surprises throughout the Creative District,” such as the Flat Jacks (link) spotted on some sidewalks in celebration of Halloweekend.

Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) Executive Director Patrick Neher spoke about successful collaborations with the Los Alamos Creative District and Los Alamos MainStreet during recent events, and the expansions happening within the LAAC.

“The Los Alamos Arts Council, in collaboration with The Fuller Lodge Art Center, is expanding its mission,” Neher said. “We welcome your comments, interest and dedication to the arts in Los Alamos.”
