‘Art in Action’ Launching at White Rock Visitor Center

CHAMBER News:

An Art in Action program is rolling out Memorial Day Weekend at the White Rock Visitor Center on N.M. 4.

The first featured artist is photographer Diana McPherson, owner of Friends of Nature Photography.

Locals and visitors to the community can stop at the visitor center and watch artists create murals and other projects on a rotating basis.

“This is a pilot program and we would like to hear from artists interested in participating and performing their art live before the public,” said Mike Lippiatt, manager of the White Rock and Los Alamos Visitor Centers. “We plan to make this an ongoing, rotating program on weekends throughout the summer months.”
