First off, congratulations to our First Meet swimmers Sofia Lopez and Aihnoa Briano-Medina.

They both did really well and placed in the top 8 in their age groups in at least one event. Congratulations also to Natalie Crawford, who participated in her second meet, and swam really well.

Congratulations to Wayne Williams who had best times in every event he swam! Eight for 8 is hard to do! Kudos to Caleb Cook, Marlee Katko and Olivia DeCroix who saw some big drops in some of their swims!

Congratulations to our event winners: Allison Amrani (6 firsts), Andy Corliss (2 firsts), Max Corliss (2 firsts), Gabe Katko (1 first) and Sam Katko (2 firsts).

Andres Iturregui also had a great meet. He swam 100s for the first time (back, breast, free) and had a best time in every event. He also was just shy (.05) of his first state qualifying time in the 50 back. Next meet for sure!

Also, great to have Olivia DeCroix back from Washington D.C. and swimming with us, even if she’s still unattached! Thanks to her for all her help with the little kids behind the blocks.

Finally, our boys took first place team honors, and our girls placed 8th. So every swim and every placement mattered … way to go Aquatomics!
