The Los Alamos Association of REALTORS® (LAAOR) elected new officers during the annual 2013 President’s Breakfast held Wednesday at the Fusion Cafe & Coffee Roasters in Mari-Mac Plaza.

Anna Earlene Caspersen of Los Alamos Realtors was elected president. She was first licensed as a Realtor in 1972 and joked, “I dodged this bullet for a long time.” She also commended the Realtor in the room saying she has always enjoyed working with Relators in Los Alamos who mare some of the finest Realtors in the United States.

The new board includes Immediate Past President Mary Anne Beard, Director Pearl White, Secretary Cindy Hollabaugh, President Anna Earlene Caspersen, Director Michael Seivold and Director Jon Bernard.

LAAOR is a not-for-profit professional trade association created to enhance its members’ ability to conduct their individual businesses successfully, ethically, with confidence and professionalism.

LAAOR was established in 1977 and is governed by an elected board of eight directors. Its activities are supported by a variety of committees. Board of Directors and General Membership meetings are held monthly to discuss local REALTOR® issues, disseminate information, host speakers and network with related business professionals.

LAAOR’s primary objectives are to share information, provide education and mentoring, and help members adhere to all national, state, and local REALTOR® ethics, rules and regulations. LAAOR’s goal is to provide Los Alamos and surrounding areas with the most informed, trustworthy and professional real estate services possible.

LAAOR is a member of the Santa Fe Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which includes properties in and around Santa Fe as well as Los Alamos, the Pojoaque Valley, Espanola, Abiquiu, Taos, Jemez Springs and most everything in between. The Santa Fe MLS offers broad exposure for residential, commercial and land listings as well as a wide range of options for area buyers.

The Los Alamos Association of REALTORS® is part of the REALTORS® Association of New Mexico (RANM) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
