ALBUQUERQUE  The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management has announced Michelle Albro is the new director of Career and Professional Development (CPD) Programs, , as well as the schedule for Spring 2018 CPD programs, which are designed to help working professionals strengthen skills and create new professional opportunities. 
 
As a successful manager for more than 20 years, Albro joins the EPEC team with a solid background of collaborative teambuilding, comprehensive and professional program development, as well as quality improvement guidance.
 
In her new role, Albro will oversee EPEC’s CPD programs, which are designed to help participants gain new skills, strengthen their resumes, and build pathways to professional certification and better career opportunities.
 
Programs utilize real-world experiential activities, case studies, and other projects to help working professionals develop new tools that can be applied immediately to their career and organization.
 
“The CPD programs at UNM’s Anderson School of Management are an incredible way for professionals to expand their skillsets, learn new skills, and take their career to the next level,” Albro said. “I’m thrilled to be a part of this team, and I’m excited to grow the existing programs. My goal will be to serve UNM and the community of Albuquerque by customizing developmental programs to meet the needs of our flourishing market, and to meet the needs of individuals who want better career opportunities.”

SHRM Exam Prep – 6–9 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 22–May 10 
 
Essentials for Managers – 6–9 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 28–May 2
 
The Business of Craft Brewing – 6–9 p.m. Thursdays, March 1–April 19 
 
Mediation Certification – 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Saturdays, March 10–April 21 
 
Lean Expert – 6–9 p.m. Mondays, March 12–April 30
 
Women’s Leadership Development – 6–9 p.m. Tuesdays, March 13–May 1
 
Lean Practitioner – Wednesdays, March 21–May 9, 6–9pm
