ACRR News:
Anders Medin, 8, had a perfect prediction of 10:00 minutes in the 1 mile Atomic City Road Runners Weekly Pace Race Tuesday evening on North Mesa by the Rodeo Arena.
Other accurate predictors:
- Lynn Bjorklund with a 3 second differential;
- Ted Romero at 14 seconds off;
- Sanna Sevanto with a 15 second difference as well as the first place female in the 3 mile distance with a 23:55; and
- Kris Toggle at 16 seconds off.
In the 1 mile race, William Strother, 9, was the top finisher at 9:13 and his sister Savanna Strother, 10, recorded a 9:15.
Aaron Jackson had a 21:17 for best finisher on the 3 mile course.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 at Fireman’s Playground at 45th Street and Arizona Ave. 1 mile road and 3 mile trail courses will be available.
