The new 5th season of Downton Abbey premieres at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4 on PBS and as a prelude, the Betty Ehart Senior Center is hosting “An Afternoon at Downton Abbey Tea”, 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4.
The fever pitch is high in anticipation for this next exciting new season. Dress in period costume or as a 1920’s aristocrat and be served a mouthwatering afternoon tea with extraordinary entertainment. This event will be a great prelude to the grand opening of Downton Abbey’s Season 5.
All ages are welcome at this fundraising event, which last year drew 57 enthusiastic patrons. Tickets, priced at $10 for children 12 and under and $20 for adults, will be available at the Senior Center Reception Desk. All proceeds benefit social programs offered by the Betty Ehart Senior Center and the White Rock Senior Center.
