AMERICAN LEGION News:

The American Legion Frank G. Frainier Post 90 of Los Alamos elected new officers Thursday evening for the 2015-16 year:

  • Commander: Ken Nadeau
  • 1st Vice-Commander: Chris Larribas
  • 2nd Vice-Commander: Ken Benes
  • Adjutant: Leland “Lelo” Lehman (not pictured)
  • Sgt-At-Arms: David Bullock (not pictured)
  • Finance Officer: Robert Shuttles (not pictured)
  • Historian: Jim Mariner
  • Chaplain: Jim Hay
  • Judge Advocate: Vernon Kerr

Also elected to the Executive Committee are:

  • Lawrence “Ed” McDaris
  • Randy Richerson
  • Gregg Giesler
  • Nick Mezins
  • Rick Haskins
  • David DeMello
  • David Dye
  • Bill Cooper
  • Daniel Cary.

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is committed to mentoring youth, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow service members and veterans.
