Los Alamos residents are reporting that traffic is at a standstill on U.S. 84/285 near Buffalo Thunder following a multiple vehicle accident late this afternoon.
One couple told the Los Alamos Daily Post that it took them 4 hours to travel from Los Alamos to Santa Fe.
A woman said it took her an extra 45 minutes to get from Los Alamos to Pojoaque at “rush hour” today after work, but traffic from her apartment looks like it is still backed up for miles almost 2.5 hours later. It is still bumper-to-bumper southbound on all side roads and the main highway through Pojoaque.
