ALERT: State Police Search For Suspect In Pojoaque … Residents Asked To Remain Indoors

POJOAQUE – The New Mexico State Police is searching for a suspect who may be armed and dangerous in Pojoaque.
 
Police are asking all residents in the area of Feather Road (Pojoaque West Frontage Road area) in Pojoaque to remain indoors.
 
The suspect fled from State Police early this morning on US 84/285 and possibly fired shots at officers before leaving his vehicle and fleeing on foot. He was possibly sighted recently in the area of Feather Road in Pojoaque. The suspect is described as a bald Hispanic male, approximately five feet seven inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and heavily tattooed.
 
Officers have set up a perimeter in the area the suspect was last seen and will be searching through a heavily wooded area. Anyone with any information should call 911.
