Alert: Resident Warns Of Deer Likely Killed By Cougar

News Alert:
 
A resident in the 1100 block of Sioux contacted the Los Alamos Daily Post today to warn the community that he found a dead deer over the weekend in his backyard that appeared to be killed by a cougar because its throat was ripped out.
 
“I live on Sioux and wanted to warn everyone in the area. Animal control came out but would not say whether it looked like a lion kill or not but it looks a lot like one to me … it tried to get the deer out of my yard under my fence.”
