Alert: Man Robbed LANB In White Rock Today … Remains At Large … Area Schools In Lockdown

News Alert:

Preliminary reports indicate that a man robbed the Los Alamos National Bank today in White Rock, that shots were fired outside, no reports of injuries.

The robber is on the loose and Los Alamos Public Schools has placed both Chamisa and Pinon elementary schools in White Rock on lockdown to keep students and staff safe while police hunt down the robber.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing all black clothes including a black hoodie and cap with the letters DC on it. He is considered armed and dangerous. DO NOT approach any suspects. Residents should remain in their home with the doors locked.

Deputy Police Chief Jason Wardlow Herrera advises the public to avoid the area and report any suspicious activity to police at 505.662.8222.
