New Mexico Museum of Art is thrilled to complement its historic plaza museum with an expansion to the Santa Fe Railyard District, creating an additional space for contemporary art and new avenues to make art available to everyone.

Commemorate the opening of New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary with free admission to New Mexico’s newest museum. 

Celebrate the opening of New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary with free admission to both the plaza and railyard location Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24. 

New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary is a newly reimagined venue to showcase and house contemporary art from the collection of New Mexico Museum of Art. Often large in scale and complex in materials, current art making practices require expanded solutions for display and storage.

The museum now has the capacity and the means to present cutting edge contemporary art.
