Absentee Voting Underway For June 3 Primary Election

Absentee voting by mail and in person has opened at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building – Boards and Commissions Room for the June 3 Primary Election.

Registered voters can visit the Los Alamos County Municipal Building – Boards and Commissions Room 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to cast their vote until May 16.

On Saturday May 17, Alternate (Early) voting begins and registered voters can visit either the Los Alamos County Municipal Building – Boards and Commissions Room or the White Rock Fire Station #3 on N.M. 4, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early voting will continue Monday May 19 through Saturday May 24, and picks back up again Tuesday May 27 through Friday May 30.

The last day of early voting at both locations is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 31.

Absentee Ballot applications can be obtained by calling the County Clerk’s office at 505.662.8010 or 8011 or via the web at www.losalamosnm.us/clerk. The last day the County Clerk can mail an Absentee Ballot is Friday, May 30.

The Clerk’s office will accept completed absentee ballots delivered by mail or in person by the voter or a member of the voter’s immediate family or a caregiver until 7 p.m., June 3.
