Absentee Voting Is Underway

Staff Report                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Absentee voting began Tuesday in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building and County Clerk Sharon Stover said Thursday that 189 votes have been cast. 

The polls are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Voters who prefer to mail a ballot to be mailed need to complete an absentee application. The last day an absentee ballot can be mailed is Friday, June 3rd.

Early voting begins Saturday, May 21, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the White Rock Branch Library on Sherwood Boulevard and in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building. Early voting runs through Saturday, June 4.

The polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Primary Election Day June 7 at the following Vote Center Locations:

  • Los Alamos County Municipal Building – Council Chambers, 1000 Central Avenue, Los Alamos;
  • White Rock Library – Multi-Purpose Room, NM State Road 4 and Sherwood Blvd., White Rock; and
  • Los Alamos County Golf Course Community Building – Multi-Purpose Room, 4250 Diamond Dr., Los Alamos.
