AAUW Holds Voter Registration At UNM-LA In Honor Of National Voter Registration Day Tuesday

AAUW News:

AAUW Los Alamos will hold a voter registration event at UNM-Los Alamos Tuesday in honor of National Voter Registration Day.

Voter registration for US citizens residing in New Mexico is 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of Building 6 on the UNM-LA campus. Those registering need to be 18 years of age or older on or before Election Day, Nov. 8. 

A social security number is necessary to complete the registration. Changes of name and address for those already registered also will be handled. 

AAUW Los Alamos also has scheduled a followup voter registration event 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 at UNM-LA.

AAUW urges all citizens to register for this important election. The registration deadline is Oct. 11 in New Mexico for the upcoming general election.
