$500 Reward for Return of Dog Needing Daily Medication

SHELTER News:

A $500 reward is being offered for the return of Scarlet, a black and white husky that escaped from the Los Alamos Animal Shelter last Tuesday afternoon. She was spotted Wednesday morning on the East Mesa Trail behind the dog park.

Several volunteer searches have failed to locate her so far. She is quite shy but thirst may lead her to find a water source. She is on daily medication, making her rescue an urgent matter.  

Anyone spotting Scarlet is asked to call the Los Alamos Animal Shelter at 505.662.8179 or, after 6 p.m., Police Dispatch at 505.662.8222.
