TSoM News:

This summer, the mountains will once again come alive with extraordinary chamber music, bringing together our renowned faculty artists, inspiring guest performers, and the next generation of exceptional early-career musicians. For more than six decades, the Taos School of Music (TSoM) has offered something rare: world-class artistry in intimate spaces, paired with the unmistakable beauty, openness, and creative spirit of Taos.

The 2026 season continues that tradition while expanding the ways audiences can experience the School. This year’s offerings include faculty and guest artist concerts, Young Artist chamber music performances, new free events designed to deepen your connection to the music and musicians, and special dining and lodging opportunities that make it easier than ever to turn a concert into a memorable Taos weekend experience.

Season highlights include performances by the Borromeo String Quartet, Jupiter String Quartet, Cooperstown String Quartet, Ariel Quartet, pianists Robert McDonald and Thomas Sauer, and alumna and Juilliard faculty member Soyeon Kate Lee, who returns for a special solo recital.

The 2026 Young Artists will also perform throughout the summer in Taos and Taos Ski Valley, sharing the remarkable growth, collaboration, and artistry that define the TSoM experience.

This season offers new ways to engage with the season beyond the concert hall, including faculty seminars, masterclasses, open rehearsals, and other free events that invite audiences into the creative process. These gatherings offer a closer look at how chamber music is shaped, discussed, rehearsed, and brought to life.

Tickets, season passes, dining add-ons, and special lodging opportunities are now available. Visit Explore the 2026 Season and Purchase Tickets.
