Annie White, a sixth-grade student at Pinon Elementary School, is this year’s winner of the Dog Jog Logo contest.
Her drawing will be the official logo for this year’s Dog Jog event and she will receive a free t-shirt featuring her artwork.
The winners are chosen on the basis of artistic merit, creativity and originality.
Other placements in the logo contest:
- Lianna Dare and her “LANL dog”, second place;
- Kiowa Carlson, third place; and
- Ciaran Chearnaigh, fourth place.
Honorable mention recipients:
- Kaitlyn Seitz-Pruitt;
- Grace Montoya;
- Haylie Gresham; and
- Karly Seitz-Pruitt.
The judges enjoyed the creativity of all of the submissions and final decisions were difficult to make. It is hoped younger artists will submit their creations again next year when the judges will again enjoy the new and fresh ideas of local young artists and animal lovers.
