2018 Los Alamos Chamber Business Awards Voting Now Open

Nominations for 2018 Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce Business Awards closed April 21. The top five nominated businesses in each category have now moved on to the voting phase. To vote for your favorite Los Alamos Chamber businesses, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LosAlamosChamberBusinessAwards

Voting is open to the public. Only Chamber members in good standing were eligible for nomination.

The awards are:

  • Retail Business of the Year Award
  • Family-Friendly Business of the Year Award
  • Best New Business of the Year Award
  • Woman Owned Business of the Year Award
  • Non-Profit of the Year Award
  • Financial Institution Business of the Year Award
  • Restaurant of the Year Award
  • Overall Business of the Year Award

Note: there was a tie in the Women Owned Business category and eight businesses have moved on to the voting in that category. Also note that while UnQuarked is not a new business, it is under new ownership with a new business model, therefore it is listed in the New Business category.

Award winners will be announced the night before ChamberFest at the 2018 Los Alamos Chamber Business Awards Reception, sponsored by Del Norte Credit Union, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 8. Ticket information can be found at: losalamoschamber.com/events/. Winners also will be announced on stage at 6:45 p.m. at the ChamberFest Los Alamos County Friday Night Concert.

ChamberFest is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9 in downtown Los Alamos and participation is an exclusive benefit of Los Alamos Chamber membership.
