Saturday, April 7 is the first Dog Jog T-shirt Day. Wear a Dog Jog T-shirt and visit Pet Pangaea in Central Park Square between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to receive a free raffle ticket for achance to win a $50 Pet Pangaea gift card.
Anyone who doesn’t own a Dog Jog T-shirt from a previous year can purchase a T-shirt for $5 or simply purchase a raffle ticket for $5.
Registration for the 2018 Dog Jog also can be completed for the early-bird fee at the same time. The drawing is 2 p.m. and participants need not be present to win.
Remember, anyone who registers for the 2018 Los Alamos Dog Jog on or before April 8 qualifies for a reduced fee of $20 for the first adult in the household. Additional adults in the household are just $15 each, and kids are only $5. Dogs, of course, not only get to participate for free, they get a special doggie prize at the finish line.
The 2018 Dog Jog, at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28, offers both a timed 5K course and a non-competitive 2-mile walk.
