2017 Special Election Update

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office is providing an update to the special election for the recreation bond. On May 2, there were 13,484 ballots mailed to registered voters, to date, the Los ALamos County Clerk’s Office has received 6,025 returned ballot envelopes and five unsigned ballot envelopes.

There are still a few more opportunities to return your voted ballot to the County Clerk. You may hand deliver your voted ballot in the proper signature envelope until 5 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Ballots must be physically received by 7 p.m. Tuesday in order to be counted.

If you did not receive your ballot, please come into the office during regular business hours, and no later than 7 p.m. Tuesday, Election Day, and the County Clerk staff can issue a replacement ballot.
