UNM-LA To Close Campus Buildings And Operate Remotely

UNM-LA News:
In response to guidance from UNM President Stokes, information from government officials, and the current situation, the UNM-LA campus will close campus buildings, but remain “open” with employees working from home.
All operations will be handled remotely using phone, email, and online technology. UNM-LA classes, and student services, will continue but with a different delivery system. This complete shift to remote operations becomes effective immediately and will continue until further notice.

UNM-LA Campus Remains Open With Limited Operations

The UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) campus remains open as of March 17, staffed by limited personnel, while other employees work from home. Campus will be closed for the day Friday, March 20. Limited operations are currently scheduled through April 5.

Los Alamos Schools Credit Union has created a COVID-19 Relief Program for school district employees and their families during the three week shutdown of the Los Alamos Public Schools.

SANTA FE – Santa Fe Community College and Santa Fe Higher Education Center are following Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s recommendation to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and have closed.

UNM-Los Alamos, in coordination with UNM, will not conduct face-to-face classes during the period of March 14 through April 5.
This will extend the “spring break” period by two weeks.

SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced today that New Mexico K-12 public schools will close for three weeks, effective Monday, March 16, to mitigate the risk of community spread of COVID-19.
