County Hears Update On Downtown Master Plans

Development of the downtown masterplans for Los Alamos and White Rock is progressing, Los Alamos County Council learned during its work session Oct. 27.

Will Gleason of Dekker, Perich, Sabatini, the firm the County contracted to develop the master plans, reported that the vision and design workshops for the two plans are completed. Now, work begins on formulating concepts that embody the public’s vision for the downtown areas, he said. Work will begin revising Chapter 16 of the County’s Development Code in January.

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon the partial total of 1,141 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 3 new cases today bringing the total to 53 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes 9 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

Land Solicitation For Two Parcels On Trinity Closes Friday

COUNTY News:

Respondents interested in proposing on the solicitation for purchase of two vacant, County-owned parcels on Trinity Drive are reminded that 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 is the deadline.

The parcels at 3661 and 3689 Trinity Dr. were purchased by the County years ago and the County is hoping to provide an opportunity for interested parties to develop the parcels in support of the County’s established goals for the community.
