New Mexico Absentee Ballot Count By Party As Of 9-30-20

From the Office of the Secretary Of State:

This data represents the total number of absentee ballot requests received as of 8:30 a.m. today in New Mexico, as furnished by the Office of the New Mexico Secretary of State.

Daily updates about these absentee ballot requests will be published until Oct. 6 when the data will be adjusted to reflect vote counts instead (absentee, early in-person and Election Day).

FBI: Gang Member ‘Baby G’ Pleads Guilty To Racketeering

FBI News:

ALBUQUERQUE – Jonathan “Baby G” Gomez, a member of the Syndicato de Nuevo Mexico prison gang, pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to a racketeer influenced and corrupt organization (RICO) indictment.

The indictment, to which Gomez pleaded guilty, details various acts and communications since 2002 in which Gomez participated in relation to his membership in the organization.

As described in the indictment, those communications discussed gang business, including illicit activities, and coordinated acts of violence, some of which were facilitated, directed or ordered by Gomez.

SANTA FE — The Public Education Department announced this afternoon 16 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 178 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Pedestrian Fatally Struck On I-25 In Santa Fe County

NMSP News:

SANTA FE COUNTY – At about 8:50 a.m. Monday, the New Mexico State Police responded to a report of a male pedestrian found deceased on the right shoulder of Interstate 25, near milepost 275 south of Santa Fe.

Upon initial investigation of an eyewitness report, statements and evidence at the scene, the male pedestrian was walking south on Interstate 25 Sunday evening when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that also was traveling south on Interstate 25.
