The 12th Annual Jemez Mountain Trails Races are scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2017.
 
Registration for the 15 Miler, 50 kilometer, and 50 mile options are now open. Two changes for this years races are (1) registration for the 15 miler opens December 16, and (2) the 50k and 50mile races will be run in the counter-clockwise direction.

Jingle Bell Rock ‘N Run Saturday

The Los Alamos High School Band is hosting the Second Annual Jingle Bell Rock ‘N Roll Run this Saturday, Dec. 17 to raise money for the LAHS band program. The fun run includes the choice of a 5K or 1 mile run and is modeled after the popular Rock and Roll marathons by featuring live music along the routes. Fourth seed Los Alamos NJROTC defeated fifth seed Granbury MCJROTC 1522 to 1498 in the quarter final game of the National Air Rifle League Precision Tournament.
 
Los Alamos NJROTC will advance to the semi-final game to take on top seed Georgia Competitive Shooters.
