Hawks Wrestling Team Takes 1st At LAMS Tournament!

The Hawks Wrestling Team took 1st place this weekend at the Los Alamos Middle School Tournament. Taking 1st place at this tournament were Ben Gellis, Roman Ulibarri, Jerry Hartzol and James Rodriguez. Second place went to Josh Archuleta and Pete Archuleta. VADITO – Ski enthusiasts can make their first turns of the season in New Mexico when Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort opens at 9 a.m. this Saturday, Nov. 19, signifying the 14th consecutive season that Sipapu has opened before any other ski area in the state.

In an undisputed contest, shooting their highest score this season, 918 points, Los Alamos NJROTC defeated Terry Parker NJROTC.
 
Their third win in a row, Los Alamos NJROTC is in fourth place in their Division with a 4 – 2 record. Los Alamos NJROTC was led by Neil Wilkerson who shot a 258. The remaining contributing members were Kaden Lim, Alex Proicou, and Thomas Kwei. Los Alamos NJROTC is from Los Alamos, NM, and is coached by Wes Shumaker.
