True Tennis Players Even In 20 Degree Weather!

If there is any question about the seriousness of tennis in Los Alamos, just see that four local players, Bob Nolen, Richard Henderson, John Gregory and Merete Nieto, played Monday morning in 20 degree weather at Pinon Courts in White Rock.
There are about 25 retired adults who play three times a week. They alternate between Los Alamos and White Rock.

The Los Alamos High School Band is hosting the Second Annual Jingle Bell Rock ‘N Roll Run this Saturday, Dec. 17 to raise money for the LAHS band program. The fun run includes the choice of a 5K or 1 mile run and is modeled after the popular Rock and Roll marathons by featuring live music along the routes. Students from the Los Alamos High School will be playing holiday tunes for the runners.
