Tuesday, the Los Alamos High School boys and girls tennis teams played matches against the Robertson tennis teams. The girl’s matches were played at the Mesa Courts and the boys were at Urban Park Courts.

On Tuesday, April 11, the Topper Boy’s Tennis team took on Robertson in a head to head clash at Urban Park Tennis Courts.

Zach Medin is the top predictor in the weekly pace race Tuesday on the pollution control plant road at the bottom of Main Hill Road with an 11 second difference from his predicted time. 
 
Other accurate predictors were: Scot Halverson and John Ullmann tied at 13 seconds off, Nicholas Parra-Vasquez with a 19 second differential, Ian Cunningham at 24 seconds off and Kevin Love recording a 26 second difference.

Los Alamos Golf Course Temporary Schedule Announced

Golf Course News:

The Los Alamos Golf Course will be closed for State Varsity High School Matches until 3 p.m. Monday, then open after 3 p.m. for regular play. The Pro Shop will be open regular hours (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

The course will be closed all day Tuesday for routine Spring golf course maintenance. The driving range and the Pro Shop will not be open Tuesday.

Cottonwood on the Greens restaurant inside the Golf Course Community Building will remain open for breakfast, lunch and dinner both days. Read More

Los Alamos Nukes Play Montezuma Friday

Friday night is rugby night at Sullivan Field. The Los Alamos Nukes are slated to play Montezuma at 7 p.m. The Nukes beat Montezuma at the High Desert Classic Tournament in Albuquerque earlier in the season and are eager for a rematch. There also will be another youth exhibition game.
