Sixty-one runners participated in Tuesday’s Atomic City Road Runners Weekly Pace Race, 1 mile and 3 mile figure 8 courses in Bayo Canyon.

Uvaldo Hinojosa is the best predictor running the 3 mile course with only 14 seconds off. Other close predictors are Levi Gibson at 27 seconds off and Felix Candia with a 31 second differential. Read More

LAFC U14 Boys Soccer Team Ties In Duke City

The LAFC U14 Lasers Boys competitive team played to two hard fought ties in the last two weeks at the Duke City Soccer League in Bernalillo. In the first game, the Lasers tied the Rio Rapids Northern SC Diamondbacks 2-2.

Scenes: Los Alamos Lacrosse Against Rio Rancho

For the U10 team, they won 2 games and lost 2 games and lost the tie breaker with Rio Rancho to play Durango in the Championship game. The team was lead by attackers, Tyler Jones, Colton Key, Nathan Duffield. The midfield was led by Gavin DeRoma, Cailyn Bingham, Aiden Alley, and Desmond Powers; while the defense shut down opposing offenses led by Presley Haight, Steven Romero, Django Salas, and superb play from our goalie Matthew Haight. In a great show of sportsmanship, the U12 team split up and helped the U14 team and the U12 team from El Paso.
