ALBUQUERQUE – It only took three quarters of play for the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (5-3, 1-1 district 2-5A) football team to beat the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (2-6, 1-1 district 2-5A) 50-0 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon underneath the Sandia Mountain setting.

​Work is progressing on the Manhattan Project National Historical Park (MPNHP), the Los Alamos County Council learned during its regular meeting Oct. 10. The park's Site Manager Charlie Strickfaden gave a short presentation to the Council about the park.

Registration Opens For 11th Elementary Mile Run

The Los Alamos High School boys and girls cross country teams are now accepting registrations for the 11th Annual Elementary Mile Run, which is 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. This free event will take place between the girls and boy’s varsity cross country meets at the Los Alamos County Golf Course.

ALBUQUERQUE – The Los Alamos Hilltopper boy’s golf team continues their impressive run claiming a second invitational out of three in the fall season.

 

Winning the Los Alamos Invite, and placing second to Piedra Vista at the Grants Invite, Los Alamos stole the show running away with the APS Golf Invitational Monday at the Ladera Golf Course on Albuquerque’s westside.
