Most people are aware of the information that can be collected from a vehicle’s “black box”. However, the information that can be gained from the Infotainment Center in a vehicle is not as widely known.

Infotainment Data, also referred to as IVI, is the term used to describe the collection of hardware and software inside the vehicle’s computer, separate from the black box.

DOH Changes COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard Reporting

DOH News:

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) announced today changes to its COVID-19 vaccine dashboard.

Beginning today, the state will report vaccinations based on the 18+ population. County-based totals will also be based on the 18+ population.

Vaccinations among the 12-17 population will appear on the dashboard as well.

The state had previously used a 16+ age grouping to report vaccinations, as well as a separate category for 12-15.

State Police Arrest Albq. Man Shooting At Cars In Santa Rosa

NMSP News:

SANTA ROSA – The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Investigations Bureau was contacted to investigate a shooting Tuesday, July 7 in Santa Rosa.

Agents learned that in the early morning hours of July 7, Adam Romanek, 26, of Albuquerque had stolen a silver 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt from his father in Albuquerque.

Investigators believe that around 5:30 a.m., Romanek stopped at the rest stop on I-40 east at milepost 252. He got out of the stolen vehicle armed with a firearm and tried to get parked motorist to exit their vehicles. Investigators do not believe he was successful in his attempts.
