New Mexico Cannabis Control Division To Hold Public Hearing Today On Allowable Solvents In Manufacturing

SANTA FE—The Cannabis Control Division of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department will hold a public hearing today, Dec. 1.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather input on proposed rule amendments to clarify allowable solvents in cannabis manufacturing processes and to support positive relationships between labor unions and cannabis businesses.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update Nov. 24-29: 4,991 New Cases, Totaling 313,139 With 45 New Deaths And 266,169 Recovered

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials Monday announced 4,991 additional COVID-19 cases between Nov. 25 and Nov. 29.

Los Alamos County reports 11 new cases over the last 5 days, bringing the total to 912  people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 45 new deaths today in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

County COVID Update: Pfizer Vaccine Clinic Sunday Dec. 12

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County, New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and Trinity Urgent Care will hold a vaccine clinic to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, either a first, second or booster dose for individuals 18 years or older.

The clinic is 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Auxiliary Gym at Los Alamos High School.

Appointments are preferred, but county officials indicate that walk-ins will be accepted provided there is sufficient vaccine supply.

NNSA Representative To Provide Update On NM4/Jemez Road Intersection Project Thursday Dec. 2

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Transportation Board invites the public to attend its next board meeting, scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2.

Carol Brown of NNSA’s Los Alamos Field Office will provide an update to the community on the status of the project to re-design and re-construct the intersection of N.M. 4 and Jemez Road.
