GM Emulsion Begins Asphalt And Concrete Repairs On Various Streets Throughout Los Alamos County

COUNTY News:

Under contract with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU), GM Emulsion will begin repairs to emergency utility asphalt and concrete cuts that occurred during the winter.

Crews will rotate to various locations throughout the Los Alamos and White Rock neighborhoods beginning as soon as today, March 29, and continuing throughout the month of April. Some minor traffic delays are expected.

Traffic control equipment, such as signage, barrels and barricades will be erected around the work zones. Flagging operations may be deployed to assist with traffic flow.

State Police To Launch DWI Checkpoints And Saturation Patrols In Counties Across New Mexico April 2021

NMSP News:

New Mexico State Police (NMSP) will be conducting DWI sobriety checkpoints; saturation patrols; and registration, insurance and driver’s license checkpoints in all New Mexico counties during the month of April.

NMSP is bringing awareness to these events in an effort to reduce alcohol related fatalities through continued media attention and intensive advertising. These checkpoints are helping to change society’s attitude about drinking and driving.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 167 New Cases, Total 191,048 With Zero Deaths And 173,270 Patients Recovered

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials today announced 167 new  COVID-19 cases.

Los Alamos County reports no new cases today so the total remains at 496 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

Today’s update includes zero new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today’s most recent cases:

  • 50 new cases in Bernalillo County
