Feral Cow Roundup Continues In Bayo And Pueblo Canyons

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Announced that the 2021 operations began today to safely and humanely remove feral cattle from Bayo and Pueblo canyons.

Two cows have been caught in Pueblo Canyon. However, most of the herd have proven difficult, and the roundup and trail closures have been extended to the end of May.

The DEA’s most recent Drug Take Back Day took place Saturday, April 24.

The DEA hope’s residents were able to attend and dispose of unused, unwanted and expired prescription drugs, but reminds those who weren’t able to attend Take Back Day that hey are not out of luck.

The DEA’s Diversion Control Division operates several public disposal locations across the country all year-round.
