Trujillo-Rondeau Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Jeanette Trujillo-Rondeau had a 1 second error from her predicted time in the Atomic City Road Runner's weekly pace race Tuesday on the Canada del Buey Trail in White Rock.
 
Other accurate predictors are Blake Hovde with a 4 second differential, Ted Romero at 7 seconds off, and 5 participants with a 9 second difference: Lyle Cunningham, Heather and Tad Hughes, Sanna Sevanto and Linda Vance.
 
On the 1 mile course, 13-year-old Erik Leonard was the fastest finisher with a time of 7:22 and the top female was 9-year-old Savanna Strother at 9:21.
 
Aaron Jackson recorded a 20:44 for best finish on the 3 mile course and the first female was Katherine Telfeyan with a time of 22:12.
 
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 on the trail just north of Brewer Rodeo Arena on the horse stable access road out on North Mesa. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available. For more information, call 505.672.1639 or visit www.atomicrunners.com.
