MEOW WOLF News:

SANTA FE  Since renowned Santa Fe art collective Meow Wolf opened its first permanent installation, The House of Eternal Return, in March of 2016 with support from Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, more than half a million visitors have poured through the doors and showered praise on the uniquely immersive new form of storytelling, art and themed entertainment.

The House of Eternal Return recently won a prestigious THEA Award, a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and The Most Instagrammed Place In New Mexico from Instagram amidst a torrent of highly enthusiastic national and international media.

Now, anyone who loves Meow Wolf and believes in the group’s deep talent for dazzling audiences can become a shareholder of the company thanks to a new SEC mechanism passed just a few years ago as part of the JOBS Act. A crowdfunding equity investment campaign launches on the WeFunder platform July 15 at www.wefunder.com/meowwolf. The investment minimum is $1,000 and available to accredited investors and all members of the general public. This is compared to past Meow Wolf investment opportunities, which required a $100,000 minimum.

“Meow Wolf believes that selling shares of the company through crowdfunding democratizes the world of investment,” CEO Vince Kadlubek said. “To offer this opportunity to our guests, employees, friends and anyone else interested in our company is in perfect alignment with Meow Wolf’s character as a collective.”

In late June, a first round raising capital on WeFunder achieved its $200,000 goal in less than 10 hours. The July 15 opportunity may go just as fast. Those interested in becoming shareholders of Meow Wolf should be prepared to invest at 10 a.m. Mountain Time, July 15 when the next round opens.

“The House of Eternal Return attracted over 400,000 visitors and $7 million in revenues in our first year,” Kadlubek said. “Funding from crowdfunding will help us now build a full-time creative studio headquartered in Santa Fe to prepare for expansion into multiple major markets and to evolve into one of the leading creative brands in the world.”
