LAMS Library Raises Funds For New Book

on November 14, 2017 - 1:19pm

LAMS News:

After removing worn out, old and unappealing books, the library staff at Los Alamos Middle School needs to buy some new ones to keep students reading.

To accomplish this, an account was established on MackinFunds called Books 4 Hawks to collect donations for new books. The goal is to raise $5,000.

The community is encouraged to contribute, even a small amount, to help make the middle school library collection better. Students want new and exciting books and library staff want them to continue reading.

Remember, recreational reading improves the mind and improves grades and test scores. The library staff is hopeful they can provide students what they deserve: the very best middle school library ever.
