FBI: Man In White Cap, Possible Fake Goatee, Attempts To Rob Albuquerque Bank

FBI News:

A slender man wearing a white baseball cap and perhaps a fake goatee tried to rob a northeast Albuquerque bank Monday, Aug. 7.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m. at BBVA Compass Bank, 7530 Montgomery Blvd. NE.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5'5” to 5'7” tall, with a slender build, dark hair and a goatee that may have been a fake. He wore sunglasses, a white baseball cap with a logo, a light-green long-sleeve shirt and dark sweat pants with white stripes.

Witnesses said the robber presented a demand note to a teller, but left without getting any money.

The suspect was last seen walking south on Pennsylvania Street NE. He may have a limp.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
