Date Change For LACF Charitable Impact Event
LACF News:
The Los Alamos Community Foundation has changed the date of its upcoming event on “Strategies for Increasing Your Charitable Impact” so as not to conflict with the Los Alamos Jewish Center’s candle light vigil.
The “Strategies for Increasing Your Charitable Impact” event was originally scheduled for this Thursday, Nov. 1. It has been rescheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Room 230 of Building 2 at UNM-LA.
The event is co-hosted by the Los Alamos Community Foundation and Los Alamos National Bank. Refreshments will be served.

CB FOX Helps Support A Worthy Cause
CB FOX Store Manager Andy Fox and his dog, Darby, show off one of the mattresses for sale at the store. Fox explained the store will donate $100 from mattress sales of $1,000 or more to New Mexico Operation Wounded Warrior now through Nov. 12. Not only will customers help a good cause but they can also get a good deal on mattresses, he said. The store is offering up to $300 off select mattresses along with its regular free delivery. Fox said this is the first time the store has supported the Wounded Warrior organization. He encourages people to take advantage of the sale and help support a worthy cause. Read More

ALBUQUERQUE – Garcia Subaru North will host a Halloween Party to support Make-A-Wish® New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE – The New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange approved a number of contracts important to its operations and key to beWellnm’s future transition to a state-based exchange during a special board meeting earlier today.
